We had a a lot of fun at our 3rd annual student poster session Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, with students from the University of Minnesota, St. Thomas, Macalester, and St. Olaf. Many thanks to our student presenters and here are some photos from the event:
Visit with students from a variety of Minnesota institutions as they present posters about their experiences with archaeological fieldwork and research projects. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in archaeology and the preservation of cultural heritage to learn more about the global work of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) and the work of local students. This event is held in cooperation with the University of St. Thomas Art History Department’s Graduate Student Research Symposium. Student posters will be on display for two events in two venues:
